The texture of the bread in the sandwich was very soft and smooth, light crisp from the toasting on the outside, flushed with lots of egg and mushrooms. The omurice with steak was also well prepared, with steak not too overcooked and the tender egg wrapping the rice, and a generous ring of sauce. The overall experience was very pleasant. ”

“ I’ve been meaning to try out shanshancafe for the longest time! They get pretty busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. Luckily, I managed to walk in and get seated right away! Here’s what I tried: Shan Shan Omurice (medium rare) Iced Matcha Lychee Soda Thai Tea Basque Cheesecake (Slice) Ice Cream Mini Pineapple Bun (takes 10-15 min to prep) Everything was delicious, and the food arrived quickly (except for the pineapple bun, which takes a bit longer). The only thing I probably wouldn’t order again is the Thai Tea Basque Cheesecake—the Thai tea flavor was too subtle for my liking. ”
